Captain Rakesh Bhutiani, Associate NCC Officer of Gurukul Kangri Deemed to be University, has been elevated to the rank of Major. Captain Bhutiani was promoted to the rank of Major by Colonel Virendra, Senior Administrative Officer of the 31 Uttarakhand Battalion NCC, during a piping ceremony.
